Nokia and Microsoft have released the beta version of Nokia’s
Drive+ application on the Windows Phone Store. Initially only accessible
to Nokia Lumia devices, now other Windows Phone 8 device users can also
have access to this application.
Nokia Drive+ is Nokia’s voice navigation service. You get features such as voice-guided navigation, offline maps, speed warnings, day and night modes, etc. along with Nokia’s respectable mapping data. Previously, other Windows Phone users had to rely on the default Bing Maps service, which lacked all of the above mentioned conveniences but not any more.
The Nokia Drive+ beta app is now on the Windows Phone Store and available to the residents of the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.
